Cobalt blue-and-white (sometsuke) glazed large baluster porcelain vase with calligraphic poem. Iron-oxide glazing along the mouth is termed kuchi beni or sabi-yu and refers to the 18th century tradition in Arita, Imari and ko-Kakiemon porcelain
