Fukumoto Fuku and Kino Satoshi have received Encouragement Awards at Japan Ceramic Society Encouragement Awards Kansai Region Exhibition on Septemer 17. They were among three recipients in the non-functional ceramics group along with two recipients in the functional craft group. There were 88 entries, out of which 79 were accepted for consideration for the awards. Fukumoto received it for her glazed porcelain tiered vessel titled Tsukikage (Moon Shadow) while Kino, for his celadon-glazed circular sculpture entitled Oroshi "Rasen" (Mountain Gust "Loop")
