We are thrilled to announce that our long-time gallery artist, Kishi Eiko, is the winner of the prestigious 36th Kyoto Art Culture Award. This important honor is a milestone achievement for Kishi, who has also won other prizes for her bold sculptural work throughout her career. The Kyoto Art Culture Award is given to those who have made a major contribution to Kyoto's culture through artistic activities. On receiving the news, Kishi expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and wanted to thank our collecting clients for their longtime support.
Her work will be presented in a celebratory exhibition at the Museum of Kyoto later this year or early 2024.
